WATEC researcher Klaus Koren receives Fritz-Feigl prize from Austrian Society of Analytical Chemistry
The Austrian Society of Analytical Chemistry (ASAC) awards the Fritz Feigl prize each year to a researcher in Austria or an Austrian researching abroad. The prize is awarded based on scientific publications, the originality of the work, number of citations and international research experience. The prize was dedicated to the field of analytical chemistry and has been awarded since 1950.
This year WATEC researcher and leader of the WATEC sensor technology cluster Klaus Koren was awarded the Fritz-Feigl-Prize. Klaus Koren’s research focus mainly on optical and electrochemical sensor development. Klaus develops sensor technology to understand environmental chemistry and thereby understand the chemical processes that govern the environment or monitor and control chemical processes.
